Learning the Why
Got the house, got the job, got the steady plan,
Still I’m waking up asking who I am.
Everyone says I should feel complete,
But something’s missing underneath my feet.
I’m older now, but somehow I’m still chasing
Answers that keep shifting while I’m aging.
I did everything right, so why does it feel wrong?
Why’s the world still heavy when I’ve tried so long?
I’m standing in the life I thought would set me free,
But the questions keep on catching up to me.
I’m strong, but I’m tired of pretending I’m fine—
I did everything right… I’m still looking for the why.
I’ve watched the years move faster than I planned,
Dreams I shelved now whisper where I stand.
People say I’m lucky, say I’ve got it made,
But they don’t see the shadows that I’ve saved.
I’m grateful, yeah, but sometimes I confess—
I thought I’d feel a little more than this.
I’m wiser now, but wisdom feels like guessing
When the world keeps changing every second.
Maybe growing older isn’t losing youth,
Maybe it’s the courage to admit the truth.
That even when you follow every line,
You still might wonder if it’s really your design.
I did everything right, but maybe that’s okay—
Maybe right and wrong both shift along the way.
I’m learning that the answers aren’t a finish line,
They’re something you keep finding over time.
I’m strong, and I’m finally letting myself try—
I did everything right… now I’m learning my why.

This Country
I was raised on wide‑open highways,
Where flags wave over small‑town streets.
Where neighbors talk on front porches,
And every promise feels within reach.
But somewhere high in the towers,
They forgot who they’re speaking for.
Shaking hands with strangers overseas,
While we’re knocking on their door.
But I still believe in America,
In the people who stand in the sun.
In the workers, the dreamers, the ones who obey
When the talking heads all run.
I won’t pledge my heart to another land,
Or bow to a distant sign.
This country may feel forgotten sometimes,
But this country’s still mine.
They argue loud on the TV,
But they don’t hear the noise we hear.
Bills stack up on the table,
And hope gets thin every year.
They shake their fists at each other,
But never reach down to lift us up.
We’re the ones who keep the lights on,
They’re the ones who call it tough.
But I still believe in America,
In the people who stand in the sun.
In the workers, the dreamers, the ones who stay
When the talking heads all run.
I won’t pledge my heart to another land,
Or bow to a distant sign.
This country may feel forgotten sometimes,
But this country’s still mine.
Maybe someday they’ll remember
Who built these fields and roads.
Who carried the weight of the nation
On tired backs and heavy loads.
Till then we’ll keep on living,
Keep singing our own truth.
Because this land belongs to the people,
Not the powerful few.
And I still believe in America,
In the hands that hold the line.
In the voices rising from every town,
Saying “we won’t be left behind.”
No matter who they stand beside,
Or what alliances they sign—
This country may feel forgotten sometimes,
But this country’s still mine.

I’m Walking
Walking in time, while sharin my rhyme
Looking for the beat, trying to get away from the heat
Cause I'm the One
moving and groovin, it's you whose behooven
tickin and tocken, Like Christopher, i'm walkin
Cause I'm the One
Can't always be wrong, your the ding in my dong
We can Dance, We can dance, got time for romance
Cause you're the One
Get it done get it done, done done
Say that your leavin, bye, nose wipen sleeven
Maybe you are to blame as much as the same
Cause you're the One
Wait, wait What ...There's still love here
Its hidden, just waiting to appear, make it
Fake it, no Bake it, let it cook
Back to movin and groovin
Look in my pockets got the Roberts,,,
Dinero that is, movin to Beverly...ills
Cause you're the One
Get it done get it done, done done done
Makin me Crazy, Lazy, hazy and ....happy
Song ended up being sappy, Ok its time
Get it done get it done, done done done
Cause we're the one.

I Walk Fast
I walk fast like I know the way,
But the truth is I’m guessing every day.
Got a spark, but it flickers in the wind,
Trying hard just to feel like I fit in.
Everyone thinks I’m solid steel,
But I’m still learning what’s actually real.
Some nights I’m brave, some nights I’m breaking,
Holding on with hands that won’t stop shaking.
I’m tough, even when I don’t feel it.
I’m strong, even when I can’t see it.
Life’s big, and the future feels so far away.
But I keep moving, even when the world’s unreal.
I’m not sure of much, but I’m stronger—
Stronger than I feel.
Everyone’s running toward their perfect dreams,
And I’m stuck somewhere in the in‑between.
I act cool like I’ve got it figured out,
But the quiet always brings back the doubt.
Still, I show up even when I’m scared—
Guess that means I’m getting somewhere.
Some nights I’m loud, some nights I’m hollow,
Trying hard to be someone I can follow.
I’m tough, even when I don’t feel it.
I’m strong, even when I can’t see it.
Life’s big, and the future feels so far away.
But I keep moving, even when the world’s unreal.
I’m not sure of much, but I’m stronger—
Stronger than I feel.
It’s choosing hope when everything is strange,
It’s staying soft while learning how to change.
I’m tough, even when I don’t feel it.
I’m strong, even when I can’t see it.
I’m tough, even when I don’t feel it.
I’m strong, even when I can’t see it.
Life’s big, and the future feels so far away.
But I keep moving, even when the world’s unreal.
I don’t know what’s next, but I know this—
I’m stronger, stronger than I feel.
